Cold Night Shelter Volunteers NeededLocation: Downtown Clearwater

When the temperature dips below 40 degrees, homeless families Clearwater area will have a warm place to spend the night, thanks to the in the Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless and First United Methodist Church of Clearwater. First United Methodist Church of Clearwater and the Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless are sponsoring a Cold Night Shelter for homeless families at the church. Anytime the overnight temperature is predicted to drop below 40 degrees, the Cold Night Shelter opens to admit families that are living on the streets. A hot meal is served and warm beds are provided. Volunteers are needed to staff the shelter when it is open. At least one man and one woman must be present overnight, and larger groups of volunteers are welcome.
