Building Bridges and Transforming Lives:  A video about the ministry of United Methodist Cooperative Ministries.

The Jesus Film is an excellent way to reach out to neighbors who do not speak English.  UMCM has video copies of it in about a dozen languages.  The copies are at UMCM's St. Petersburg office.  Call (727) 442-6881 or email us for an appointment.  You can preview the film there or take it home.  Or we can mail it out to you.  This film has been used around the globe for 25 years. Its text is straight from the Gospel of St. Luke.  It is available in more than 800 languages.  UMCM also has both Spanish and English copies of the children's edition of the film.
If you use The Jesus Film in ESOL ministries, you may find the downloadable, free ESOL lessons helpful.  They are called Window to the World.  The author, Doris Edwards, is well-known and highly respected as a curriculum writer and teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages.
Children of the World Preschool: A documentary produced by Calvin College Media Productions. In an informal interview, Barbara Crow, the Preschool's first Director, explains the joys and needs of a very unique preschool.  Running Time: 6 1/2 min.
