We seek to meet the needs of our local community, and make the love of Jesus Christ visible and tangible, through Service, Education and Advocacy.

History and Purpose

United Methodist Cooperative Ministries/Suncoast, Inc., is a social services agency of the Gulf Central District of the United Methodist Church in Florida. Incorporated in 1975 as a not-for-profit 501(C)3 faith-based corporation, Cooperative Ministries provides services to persons seeking to overcome obstacles in their lives.  By working in collaboration with churches, non-profit and service agencies and volunteers from the community, Cooperative Ministries serves over 15,000 people in the five county service area each year.

Service Area 

Cooperative Ministries carries out its programs throughout West Manatee, Pinellas, West Pasco, Hernando, and West Citrus counties.
